Just before Easter Room 19 went knitting crazy! More than half the class started to knit Teddies of all colours, shapes and sizes. Our amazing S.N.A. Ger taught us how to knit the plain stitch, the pearl stitch, how to cast on and off. She also taught us how to stuff and sew the Teddy. It was a lot of fun making our Teddies.

On Tuesday 23rd June, second class went to Dublin Zoo on their school tour. We had a great day. Some of the children and the adults went on an African Trail. The other children and adults went on a Rainforest Trail. Both groups saw the new sea lion cove.

On the African trail we went all around the African plains. On the rainforest trail we went all around the various houses; the reptile house, the South American house and the Robert’s house.
