The boys and girls from Ms O'Reilly's 3rd Class recently performed their end of year show 'Cinderella & Rockerfella'. Their weeks of hard work and rehearsals paid off and their parents were blown away with the acting and musical talent! It was a great way to end the year and we will definitely see some of these names in lights in the future!
Junior Infants enjoyed a visit from Garda Paul last week. We learned all about the Gardaí and how they keep us safe. We even had a chance to see the Garda motorbike! We had a great day!
On Friday, Room 20 made our own homemade pizza from scratch. First we had to mix flour, yeast, olive oil, salt and warm water together. We then had to knead the dough to make it smooth. We left the dough alone for an hour to prove, this means rise and expand. The yeast and warm water helps the dough to do this. This process helps the dough to become stretchy.
Afterwards we rolled out the dough and put tomato passata, cheese and ham on the pizzas. It only took 15 minutes for them to cook. We had lots of fun making our pizza’s and looked forward to some more baking soon!
